The pump dispenses just the right amount for handwashing, and the lather is surprisingly creamy for a castile soap. The anise scent lingers lightly on my skin afterward, which I actually don't mind.
The star anise scent is strong and very distinct, almost like black licorice, which I personally enjoy but it might be too much for some. The soap lathers nicely and my hands don't feel stripped or dry afterward, so the hemp oil is doing its job. Just wish the bottle were a bit bigger for the price.
